IU Bloomington's first-ever virtual Commencement exercises are open to all 2020 candidates for graduate and undergraduate degrees. The ceremony lasts approximately 60 minutes and includes the procession of the platform party; the singing of the National Anthem; addresses by President Michael A. McRobbie, Provost Lauren Robel, a guest speaker, and a student speaker; induction into the IU Alumni Association; the conferral of degrees; and the singing of the alma mater, "Hail to Old I.U."
